What communism means, what socialism means, why the man repeating the smear needs you afraid of your neighbors, and five answers short enough to remember tonight.
The use of "communism" to label political opposition does go back a long way - and used by many conservative mouthpieces. I remember sometime in 2009 or 2010 when I was in front of a construction site and one of the workers came over to another and said that Rush Limbaugh was correct, that Obama was a communist. I did not say anything, but would really like to know exactly what good ole' Rush was blathering about.
Seeing this over a week later but at a potentially very helpful time. Not sure if we'll be attending a social event occurring near us this weekend or not, but I plan on printing this so that I can have it at hand to go over it in my head repeatedly until November.

Yep. If it was Trump, he would have had the Treasury keep all of the shares in GM and Chrysler, and probably make a transactional deal with the investment companies, that would include a little something for himself personally.

Call it “communism” is the oldest trick in the book. Every time politicians and elites want to keep being able to disenfranchise and exploit citizens they roll out that tried and true catch all “communism” label. When you gonna catch on? Stop letting people make decision for you.
Anybody that calls me a Communist because I think MAGA is for morons doesn’t deserve to share the same air I do. If they say that to me in my home, they will be asked to leave. But that won’t happen because I don’t spend anytime with racist assholes.

I always liked the response of asking them to explain how democrats are communists. Then you find out that they have no idea what a communist is.
