I remember people hearing him speak for the first time. He offered victimhood, people to blame (such as immigrants and Democrats), with a lot of tough talk where he told the crowd what they wanted to believe. I heard someone in the crowd say that "he tells it like it is", which was really not true. This is probably where the devotion and cult following started - and they never wanted to see him any other way. He was their savior from all that they hated about the economic and cultural changes, especially with religious people. Evangelical groups and Republican party leaders soon realized the persuasion he had, just could not control him. He took over.
I can honestly say I hate every fuckin magat, they knew exactly what they were doing and they didn't care. They gate that an intelligent, educated black man won two terms as president, Mitch McConnell said his sole objective was to make Obama a one term president. Trump never got over being humiliated and laughed at during the WH Correspondence Dinner. They did not want a woman of colour in the WH. In the beginning I tried to argue with those who praised him, only to be told that I listen to fake news or that he is the one fighting evil and I have gone to the dark side. Trump got 49.8% of the voter. Harris got 48.3% in a very close race. Third parties pulled 1.9%. When we do the math, 50.2% of voters said no thanks to Trump. He may have won the White House, but he didn’t win the majority. Also, 90M eligible voters, for one reason or another, didn't show up and vote in 2024. We got this. All we need to do is make sure our family and friends are registered to vote and then do vote in the November midterms.
