That's nice. Who gets the money?

Let’s get on with this case and let the shit fall where it may…

Mark Z. can afford it.

He’ll still be a billionaire.

He’ll live.

Fines without prison time is ‘just the cost of doing business’.

IF people would simply stop using Facebook……

A very good article Mitch.

I had a Facebook account once and used it occasionally but the sheer amount of bs messages made me stop using it. I still have the account and recently I received a message from FB about a former colleague of mine who I liked very much. So I went back on it and found exactly the same kind of messages that I objected so strongly to before. I don't know how to delete the account but I will never use it again. Anyone had the same experience?

I'm pretty sure if you type into your search bar "how do I close my facebook account" you will probably find enough guidance --wherher YouTube videos or step-by-step written instructions--to get the job done 👍🏼

Ok I’ll try it. Thank you.

There are much better ways to get in touch with people. Delete your Facebook account! Everyone Should! Don't complain about it, quit being part of it!

This is an extremely important issue and a story that has been reported way too sparsely. META lied repeatedly and willfully about keeping your personal information private— and then sold it for billions, including to Cambridge Analytica who used it to create and target political ads and other comms in the 2016 election.

Mitch does an exquistie job of analysing their conduct, and the NM suit and jury decision last week that is spotlighting it and the consequences.

I live in MA. I want to sue meta. How or even can I?

Meta is claiming the finding of the New Mexico courts violates their right to free speech.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the right of free speech is basically a political right, one that allows a citizen or press of a nation to freely criticize and/or report on the government without fear of penalties, reprisals, censor, arrest or detention as long as said critism and/or reporting is believed to be correct and factual.

So I am not seeing how Meta's right to free speech has been violated. Personally I think they are grabbing at very loose straws here.

Yes, that's the whining of fascists as they move actively to destroy 1A.

I never trusted Facebook, and I never put anything really private on my Facebook page - and with these new revelations I’m very glad I did that - I rarely get on facebook but I know many people who put everything they did on Facebook and shared private details with their friends - and who knows who has that information now

I hope New Mexico gets a huge settlement from META that will benefit New Mexican kids

Bury Meta in debt and put them out of business.

I’m so proud of New Mexico! They also may be the first in the country to get any accountability concerning Epstein’s child sex trafficking ring.
