Incredible to read this is what US voters have to worry about from someone observing from Australia, where we rock up to our polling places or place a mailing vote without any fear or concern of intimidation. Not to mention voting is compulsory here. Beggars belief really. What a sad state of affairs. How is the US the land of the free? Doesn’t seem like it from here. It's a stain on America that its own citizens exist in a state of fear of the personnel who ostensibly are employed to protect them, their rights and their freedoms. The very fact that so many good, decent people are either 1/ in fear of federal agents, 2/ working in volunteer networks to counteract the sustained assault on those rights and freedoms by federal agents, or 3/ having to give their free time to advise others on how to remain safe from prosecution by said agents as they go about their law-abiding lives, lays bare the fallacy that is "the land of the free". Make no mistake, in the war on terror, in exactly this way & as Bin-Laden envisaged, America had its arse handed to it. That statement, while understandably controversial, isn't a criticism of the American people - or not all American people at least, it's a simple statement of truth and fact about how bad actors in public office have disingenuously exploited the understandable desire of the public to feel safe and, in so doing have perverted the role of federal agencies to suit their own agenda, resulting in a public that is now more terrorised than it has been at any point in modern history. Education, health & medicine, welfare, are all sacrificed at the altar of "national security" and ever more so under the purview of a rapist, paedophile incumbent President - the toxic tyrant in chief.
Franklin B. must be turning in his grave remembering his words: "A nation which sacrifices its freedom for security, or vice versa, shall neither have nor deserve either one".
Get your freedom back America. Get free also from the influence of Putin & Netanyahu and from that section of your fellow citizens who commit the most dreadful acts upon your friends and neighbours both within and without, shockingly in the name of "God".

I’m a poll worker and the ballot commissioner for our county Democratic Party. This will be helpful for anyone trying to vote and poll workers to have knowledge of the election laws.
We take absentee ballots to the voters that are eligible to vote but unable to get to the polls due to illness, hospitalization, in a nursing home and other locations where they are unable to leave due to illness or disease or other conditions that affect their ability to get to the polling place.
The republicans ballot commissioner and I go together to help people vote as required by law.
The process of voting is reviewed with the county clerk election’s person when we meet to pickup the ballot and receive instructions from them as to the process for voting and securing the ballot for the voter.
Returning to the county clerks office sealed, and confirmed by the voters signature on the secure envelope where it’s sealed. Also, confirming the voters picture ID and observing the voters signature on the ballot.
This is done in the presence of both ballot commissioners and they have to sign the document confirming the ballot validity and signature of the voter.
