Congress banned armed federal agents from the polls 161 years ago. I walk you through your rights, citizen or not, and the four sentences to say when an agent stands between you and your ballot.
This fails to answer the obvious question; Why would anyone entitled to cast a ballot be afraid to enter a polling place?
You may recall during President Obama’s first election, the Bush Administration arrested and charged a number of the New Black Panthers’ group for voter intimidation. They were at the entrance to a polling place, dressed in black, with clubs. Obama’s AG, Eric Holder, dismissed the charges.
Anyone who believes that the law will stop Trump or his minions from trying to intimidate lawful voters from engaging in their constitutional right this November is daft. Look at the man's past behavior. He takes an unlawful action and dares the courts or Congress to call him on it and even when they do he either ignores it or goes running to the Supremes to give him a pass. Even if he is sanctioned, the deed will have been done and jail or impeachment will not remedy the harm that will have been done to our elections.
The only solution is for each of us to vote in November, encourage other like-minded people to vote, and to assist those who might be intimidated in exercising their rights. Do the right thing and hope for the best.

Makes me think that a credible plan might be to vote early. Then, spend election day volunteering to help people get to the polls. Contact your local Democratic Party office to see if they need drivers. Also, circulate to local polling places where intimidation might appear. Look for unmarked SUVs, agents, etc. Document and report, using Mitch's guidelines. Above all, obey the law and be safe.
Incredible to read this is what US voters have to worry about from someone observing from Australia, where we rock up to our polling places or place a mailing vote without any fear or concern of intimidation. Not to mention voting is compulsory here. Beggars belief really. What a sad state of affairs. How is the US the land of the free? Doesn’t seem like it from here. I sincerely hope that your midterm elections go well for your sakes as well as the rest of the world and that the corrupt, fascist administration you are currently suffering is brought to heel.

Vote early everyone, if you can. Do not use USPS. Ensure you are registered. Check frequently.
