I’m tired of Donald Trump and his administration.
I’m tired of Trump and his people praising dictators instead of holding them accountable. Last week, Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff told Vladimir Putin, “You are a humanitarian also, sir, and I salute that.” Putin invaded Ukraine and faces an International Criminal Court arrest warrant for deporting Ukrainian children.
I’m tired about how Trump and his administration are destroying our environment by waiving clean-air rules for industrial facilities that spew cancer-causing gases while his appointees work to gut regulations altogether.
I’m tired of Jared Kushner running around the world making deals after career White House security staff recommended denying his top secret clearance over foreign influence concerns and omissions on his background forms. He isn’t a government employee, so he dodges the rules and congressional oversight. Now reporting alleges Dutch intelligence watched him log into a UAE account holding hundreds of millions of dollars.
I’m tired of a President whose words and policies have given racists permission to crawl out of the woodwork and say the quiet part out loud. They’re drawing voting maps to dilute the power of Black and brown voters and standing up at public hearings and rallies saying things no one in modern America would have dared say in public before this presidency, and they do it because they know the man at the top has their back.
I’m tired of watching his enablers nod along to everything he says and does, from the people in his administration to the MAGA Republicans running Congress, because loyalty to him pays better than loyalty to you. They trade their oath to the Constitution for more power and more money, and every time they look the other way, you’re the one who pays for it.
I’m tired of a president who promised to release the Epstein files, then stalled once he took office, even with his name appearing in at least 4,500 of those documents.
I’m tired of Trump lying to his audiences that schools are secretly sending their kids off for gender-affirming surgery behind their backs. No school, no child, and no surgery has ever been found behind that claim, and a school nurse cannot even hand a child a Tylenol without a parent’s permission.
I’m tired of crowds cheering when Trump tells them he can say the stupidest things and still get applause, and when he promises them a healthcare plan that is always two weeks away for the last 10 years. He told them to stop complaining about high gas and grocery prices, and they clapped for that too.
I’m tired of an administration that treats a federal judge’s order like a suggestion. Judge Reyes required court approval before cutting more than 10 trees at the East Potomac golf links course, and the government cut down at least 430 mature trees that weekend.
I’m tired of conduct by the Trump administration and the Department of Justice lawyers resulting in a federal judge, on the record, saying the government has lost all credibility with her court and that it did its absolute worst, not its best.
I’m tired of one man, Elon Musk, being allowed to spend $366 million dollars to shape this year’s midterms, including $158 million dollars to a single Senate super PAC in one summer. One man’s checkbook should not count more than your vote.
I’m tired of his Justice Department trying to stop California from counting about 20,000 mail ballots three weeks before Election Day, based on a list it will not explain. Federal judges have already thrown out 26 of these voter-roll cases, and in Nevada every one of the 185 people the government flagged turned out to be a lawful american citizen.
I’m tired of masked federal agents with guns and no badges surrounding a father with his five-year-old in the back seat and firing seven rounds into his car, putting a bullet in his neck. Since Trump returned to office, immigration agents have opened fire in at least thirty shootings.
I’m tired of Trump breaking his own sanctions law to let Putin sell diesel and make hundreds of millions a day to fund his war on Ukraine. He signed the law, then three weeks later waived it with no notice to Congress, no certification, and no vote.
I’m tired of Ukraine paying the price for Trump’s diesel deal with Putin. Senator Schiff warned we went from sanctioning Russia’s war machine to fueling it, and he was right.
I’m tired of Elon Musk throttling the Starlink service Ukraine uses to defend itself from Russian missiles, after reportedly discussing it with Trump first. Ukrainian officials say the speed cap let Russian missiles slip past their defenses, and instead of owning it, Trump claimed nobody ordered the slowdown while Musk blamed the President and the U.S. military.
I’m tired of living in a country so damn chaotic that millions of us already have a plan for the day this man is finally gone. I want a boring country back, where the news puts you to sleep and my phone is not a smoke alarm going off at 2 a.m.
I’m tired of Pete Hegseth and Trump originally wanting to livestream a firing squad execution from Fort Hood on December 3. A government that needs an audience for an execution is ruling by fear, plain and simple.
I’m tired of access to the President carrying a price tag, like the alleged Amex pitch tied to Kimberly Guilfoyle’s confirmation. Play by the rules in this country and you get locked out while donors get a text message.
I’m tired of Trump spending 20 million dollars of your money to sell himself to you on television. That is not public information, that is vanity paid for out of your pocket.
I’m tired of a President thinking it’s OK to tell a crowd, let them take out Los Angeles, let them take out San Diego. He said it out loud, on camera, about American cities, and his crowd ate it up.
I’m tired of having to explain to my clients and friends what happens if Trump declares martial law before the midterms. A president floating that kind of power grab is a threat to every vote in this country.
I’m tired of a man who is not a doctor and who spent 10 years addicted to heroin and bragged on a podcast that he used to snort cocaine off toilet seats running public health for this entire country. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. founded an anti-vaccine group before taking office, a federal court found he broke the law reshaping the CDC’s vaccine advisory committee, and measles is roaring back on his watch.
I’m tired of Trump feeling sorry for the accused when a young woman at Cornell says seven men attacked her. Real men protect women, and every boy in America heard which side he picked.
I’m tired of Trump siding with the mother who stayed with the stepfather a grand jury indicted for sexually abusing her daughter, Amy Acton, from the time she was 9 until she was 12. Acton is now running for governor of Ohio, and the President of the United States had a chance to show a survivor of child sexual abuse some basic decency and set an example for every kid in America watching. He doubled down on protecting the mother instead. He called her a “smart woman,” told Vivek Ramaswamy to keep running her attack ad, and when a reporter raised the indictment, he cut her off with “No, no.”
I’m tired of Renee Good’s family having to file wrongful death lawsuits against the United States to get accountability. Her last words were that she was not mad at them, and they killed her anyway.
I’m tired of Trump holding up an AI self-policing pledge signed by the most powerful people in tech, with “United States” misspelled, and calling that protection. If you cannot proofread the promise, you do not get to police the product. And allowing the inmates to run the asylum is never a good idea.
I’m tired of Trump’s illegal propaganda running on your dime weeks before the midterms. Federal law has banned taxpayer-funded propaganda for 75 years, and the White House is airing it anyway because nobody in power will stop it.
I’m tired of Trump’s incoherent, babbling word salad, the rambling answers that wander from sharks to windmills to Hannibal Lecter and never land anywhere. Ask him a simple question and you’ll get ten minutes of noise and zero answers, because the man who works for you thinks he never has to explain himself to you.
I’m tired of America getting played again while Trump rolls out billionaires for Xi instead of letting him meet our democracy. He parades wealth for a dictator and calls it strength.
I’m tired of finding out that a proposed 25 billion dollar Alaska gas project, one Putin discussed with Trump envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner during Ukraine peace talks, was secretly bankrolled by Novatek, a Russian energy giant under U.S. sanctions that now wants to become a shareholder. Its former CEO quit, saying he was lied to about where the money came from, and people familiar with the talks say sanctions relief for Russia’s Arctic LNG 2 project was considered as part of the trade.
I’m tired of the White House defying a judge’s order and turning reporters away at the gate to the White House hours after being told to let them in. That is contempt for the court and contempt for you.
I’m tired of a contractor handing the FBI a 50-page road map tying his illegal donations to millions Susan Collins put in the budget for his company, and Kash Patel’s FBI stopping the chase. Trump’s Justice Department told corruption prosecutors to stand down and one agent who built the case got fired.
I’m tired of Trump threatening Iran’s future generations from the podium at the United Nations. Under American law, threatening to wipe out generations is a war crime threat, not diplomacy.
I’m tired of a president posting images on social media of himself in military uniform. It’s stolen valor starting at the top, from a man who called the fallen losers and dodged the draft five times. Anyone who actually served this country owes him nothing.
I’m tired of Trump locking CNN, MS NOW, and Politico out of the White House because he cannot handle their questions. When he locks out the press, he locks out every American who depends on them.
I’m tired of Mike Johnson sending Congress home for seven weeks while an impeachment vote, an AI crisis, and 700 of his own bills sit on the desk. Try walking out on your job for seven weeks and see what happens to you.
I’m tired of more than 13 billion dollars in Venezuela oil money moving through accounts our government may or may not control with nobody willing to show you the balance. Your government, your money, no receipts.
I’m tired of calling bullshit because seven Supreme Court justices had to tell Trump no on his mail ballot order. One of the two who sided with him flew the flag upside down at his home after January 6, and we are supposed to pretend that is fine.
I’m tired of them selling the air your grandkids will breathe to the highest polluting bidder. That is theft from people who are not even born yet.
I’m tired of the FCC threatening Jimmy Kimmel, his network, and his local stations for interviewing a Senate candidate on September 10. Your government tried to stop you from seeing an interview, in America.
I’m tired of a Congress that stopped working for you, like a lawyer who switched to the other side two years ago while you kept paying the bill. A new Congress on January 3 can change everything, and that is exactly why they fear it.
I’m tired of Trump unilaterally starting a war with Iran, never getting proper congressional approval, and turning the world upside down.
I’m tired of, because of the war, Big Oil raking in 14 billion dollars in 90 days while Trump’s portfolio made millions on their stock. You pay at the pump, they cash in at Mar-a-Lago, and they call that energy policy.
I’m tired of ICE saying it will show up at the polls if it wants to, when armed federal agents at polling places have been a crime since 1865. Congress banned it 161 years ago to protect your vote from intimidation.
I’m tired of the high gas, diesel and food prices because of Trump’s Iran war.
I’m tired of Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, call the shots while facing a corruption trial at home and an International Criminal Court arrest warrant at the same time. Two courts, four counts, and an arrest warrant is not a smear, it is a record.
I’m tired of watching the quiet way a country gets taken, one norm, one institution, and one cowardly silence at a time. There is a name for what you are watching, and it is not normal politics.
I’m tired of Chief Justice Roberts calling Trump’s ballroom likely unlawful while five justices let it rise anyway without deciding if it is legal. That is a win handed to power with no accountability attached.
I’m tired of the Pentagon paying people on social media to amplify Pete Hegseth and attack his critics without telling you who signs the checks. Four accounts, two million followers, and not one disclosure.
I’m tired of them trying to cut a road through Yosemite after the courts already said no. Lincoln set that land aside as inalienable in 1864, and this Interior Department is still working the deal behind your back.
I’m tired of Todd Blanche running a Justice Department that would not fight back when Trump sued his own government for 10 billion dollars. They walked out with an illegal 1.776 billion dollar settlement paid from your money, and Blanche should be impeached for it.
I’m tired of his illegal tariffs, the ones the Supreme Court struck down because a president does not get to tax the American people by himself. Congress holds the power to tax under the Constitution, Trump grabbed it anyway, and you paid the bill every time you bought groceries, gas, or anything that crossed a border.
I’m tired of his illegal birthright citizenship executive order, the one the Supreme Court struck down because a president cannot erase the Fourteenth Amendment with a pen. If you are born in this country, you are a citizen of this country, and no executive order gets to rewrite 150 years of constitutional law because he doesn’t like the color of your skin or wants a headline.
I’m tired of listening to him berate, insult, and call reporters names for asking the questions we all want answered. He does it because he cannot answer the question, so he attacks the person asking it, and every American who wants the truth gets insulted right along with them.
I’m tired of Trump calling half the country the enemy and communists. Your neighbor who waves at your kids, the retired teacher down the street, anyone who did not vote for him gets labeled an enemy of America, and that is how a president divides a country on purpose.
I’m tired of Trump’s crypto grift and the thousands of stock trades timed around his own announcements, trades that turned inside knowledge of his next move into billions in profits. He tells you when to buy after his people are already in, he crashes markets with a post and cashes in on the swing, and working families holding a retirement account get played for suckers.
I’m tired of him destroying things that belong to all of us, the East Wing torn down for his ballroom, the Lincoln Memorial treated like a prop, and the Kennedy Center seized and stamped with his name for his own vanity projects. He did not build any of it, he does not own any of it, and he had no right to wreck it or rebrand it.
I’m tired of him calling people who dedicated their lives to this country criminals because they made a video reminding our troops they must not follow illegal orders, or because someone posted a picture of seashells on a beach. Reminding a soldier to follow the law is the law, and treating that as treason tells you exactly how much he respects the military he claims to love.
I’m tired of him pardoning the January 6th rioters who beat cops and stormed the Capitol, and then setting up a 1.776 billion dollar slush fund to compensate them. The people who attacked our democracy get a pardon and a payday funded with your money, while the officers who defended that building get nothing but disrespect.
I’m tired of the daily lies, from him and from everyone in his administration, told straight to your face as if you are too stupid to notice. He and everyone on his administration work for us, not the other way around. It’s time they start acting like it.
I’m tired of your paycheck, your health care, and your freedom riding on five minutes in a voting booth this November. That is what happens when a bully in the Oval Office thinks he is above the law and nobody calls him on it.
I’m tired of the ugliness that has crawled out from under the rocks and into the daylight. The kind of anger that used to whisper in backrooms is now screaming in the streets and sitting behind microphones.
I’m tired of cruelty becoming the price of loyalty in this country. We now excuse it, ignore it, and in too many places, we celebrate it.
I’m tired of the lying, the name-calling, and the gaslighting coming from this administration. Lies get shouted so often they start to sound like truth, and Americans are being trained to doubt what they see with their own eyes.
I’m tired of watching people stop debating issues and start insulting each other into silence. That is what happens when deception gets passed off as leadership.
I’m tired of Trump and his circle turning public office into a profit center. Conflicts of interest get rebranded as smart business, and the line between governing and grifting is gone.
I’m tired of politicians debating whether a woman gets to control what happens to her own body. The government does not belong in anyone’s exam room, and in some states a rapist now has more rights than the woman he violated.
I’m tired of equal rights being treated like a wedge issue. Laws are rolling back protections for LGBTQ+ Americans and making it harder for people of color to vote, speak, and live safely, and that rhetoric is now campaign material.
I’m tired of due process being stripped away while most Americans scroll past the headlines. Detain first, justify later is not the rule of law, and the folks who think they have nothing to worry about will find out when it’s their door getting kicked in.
I’m tired of Trump erasing protections for clean water, national forests, and the air we breathe. Oil and gas companies are writing the rules now, and our grandkids will pay the bill.
I’m tired of the hate aimed at immigrants. Human beings are being dragged from their homes, caged, and deported without due process, and this administration calls cruelty policy.
I’m tired of banning books instead of teaching kids to think. When we stop teaching children about slavery and civil rights, we raise a generation that is easier to manipulate, and that is the point.
I’m tired of America giving up the moral high ground. Defunding USAID, cozying up to dictators, and walking away from allies leaves the door wide open for bad actors who spread fear instead of freedom.
I’m tired of money and power deciding everything while morality sits on the sidelines. Billionaires write checks and get legislation in return, and religious leaders trade faith for favor.
I’m tired of pardons being handed out like political thank-you cards. The people who stormed the Capitol on January 6th got rewarded, and the message is clear: if you’re loyal to him, the law does not apply to you.
I’m tired of school board members and election officials living with threats while this administration shrugs. Hate crimes and extremist violence are up, and the silence from the top feeds it.
I’m tired of our kids watching all of this and learning that bullies get ahead and truth is optional. We owe them better than a country where power protects power.
I’m tired of corporations and billionaires running this country since rulings like Citizens United handed them the keys. Decisions in the Oval Office now reflect boardrooms instead of living rooms, and the people with the most money write the rules the rest of us live by.
I’m tired of free speech being twisted into a shield for disinformation while truth gets punished. Journalists get attacked, whistleblowers get smeared, and critics get intimidated into silence.
I’m tired of Trump treating the courts and Congress like obstacles instead of co-equal branches. He threatens judges, ignores subpoenas, and surrounds himself with loyalists who follow orders instead of the law, and that is authoritarianism.
I’m tired of watching our democracy erode one piece at a time. A convicted felon sits in the Oval Office with almost unchecked power while state legislatures draw maps to silence your vote.
I’m tired of what he’s done to our country, the divisiveness, the racism he empowers and excuses, the anger, the hate, and a national conversation that is nothing but insults, threats, and grievance from morning to night. There is no optimism in it, no vision, no lifting anyone up, just exhaustion, and it is destructive to families, to neighbors, and to a country that used to believe tomorrow could be better than today.
And last but not least, I’m tired and fed up with every person who cheers on the damage Trump and his administration are doing to our country and the world. You don’t get to watch this happen, clap along, and call yourself a patriot.
If you feel this too, speak up. Don’t wait for someone else to fix it. Call it out.
Silence, right now, is complicity. On November 3rd we either start reclaiming the soul of this nation or we let it slip through our fingers. One lie, one grift, one pardon at a time.

This is exactly how all of us normal people feel and I think it’s important to review all of it. We can’t stop any of it right now but the day is coming.
I’m sending this to every MAGA person I know. That’s something we can do now in addition to voting. Plus, call Congress and use your voice. 202-224-3121
Thanks for encapsulating the evils of the Trump kleptocracy, and his hangers on, Mitch. When he and his ilk start coming after the sensible voices like yours we're truly in deep trouble. Everyone keep howling in his face until he's gone.
