I plan on keeping this & using pieces of it in dialog with when debating with others. First step is to get a person engaged in rational conversation and not let the shallow bullet point beliefs that get spewed by Trump supporters go unexamined in deeper discussion.
I'm Belgian I am also tired of the eternal bull..t coming out of the USA. I always liked a lot of "American" things but now I'm not only tired but, as a somebody who never understood how Germany and a lot of Belgians could symphatise and run with all these Nazi's, I start to understand how we could come to this. I certainly hope that the USA can come to terms with this and stop this constant eroding of decency and hate frenzy.

I have always taken comfort from the phrase “the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” At least, I always used to. I’m no longer as sure as I once was. It seems like a quaint and naive belief now.
As for being tired of all of the terrible (and horribly accurate) things you have listed, tired is an understatement. Exhausted and bloodied, but hopefully not mortally wounded.
The sad reality is that it seems as though roughly a third of the American people approve of the cruelty and injustice. That might be the most depressing aspect of the current situation.
But: it is not 1/3 of the American people. It is 1/3 of the voters. Around 77 Mio of 342.9 Mio Americans. It is less than 25%. It is still much too much. And what are we doing with them to "debrainwash" and teach some morals concerning humanity.

I see the same flags, some torn, some extremely weathered and others wet from the early morning rain, and have felt the same thing.
I thought exactly the same when a US flag behind my business in a private home was ripped apart by strong winds, flying in pieces.
