"Privacy in America" is well worth reading. It's because of that book (in my case, a printed off pdf in a three ring binder that sits on our kitchen table) that my wife and I will hang on to our pre-2016 vehicles as long as we can, we will never get Alexa, Echo, Ring or a "smart" home thermostat, and that I have signed my family up with a data protection service.
It’s not just our locations being bought thru cell phones and cars. I am fully aware that I’m on a govt antifa watch list for my comments on Facebook/IG & X. And if they come arrest me for my hatred of this administration then I’ll be smiling in my mugshot. And then I’ll be calling a lawyer like you.
I use incogni and norton for dark web and data harvesting protection.
I never scan QR codes, etc, and am wary of the apps I have downloaded, e.g., Wells Fargo, Amex, Bank of America, etc. Hope I'm not a fool for trusting their privacy settings.
And some folks thought Bill Gates was tracking us with the Covid vaccine?!? Funny that the people who don’t believe in evolution are the least evolved.
