As an Aussie, looking in from the outside... it is unfathomable. That a single person with a lifetime record of "escaping" personal consequences on a grand scale, could have ever been eligible to become president! And now, empowered by his self serving enablers, manipulating due process and social media to transform the world's strongest most respected democracy, into a hollow shell. Veterans who gave their lives for your freedoms must be turning in their graves, as everyday, intentions are very clear. Your rights, your process, are being removed by your own, democratically elected President, hell bent on undoing any remaining vestige of your Constitution, to be an omnipotent dictator.

Thanks Karen. As an American I feel the same way. We’ll get things fixed. Last Tuesday was just a start.

Less than ONE year to go until midterms. We cannot be comfortable, complacent or smug based on last night's results. While VERY encouraging and well worth celebrating, we need to turn out in overwhelming numbers to vote the republicans out. They have shown without exception (aside from a very small handful) that they are not worthy of anyone's vote. It is that simple. Republicans are not worthy of power, responsibility or your vote. Talk to friends, co-workers, strangers, anyone who will listen and tell them why it is so important to make time to vote on November 3, 2026. We have found out what happens when people do not exercise their civic right - do not let this opportunity pass you by.

Yes. We are fucking sick of it!

I had a bully , personally, in junior high.

After months of despair and torment, I had enough.

I strengthened my mind and body in preparation.

I finally kicked his ass in front of the entire student body and instantly got my respect back.

History shows that bullies usually go down in the end for the same reason: they always take it one step to far.

I really liked your column expressly for the press. It was so right on. I hope it had some effect.

Thanks Margaret. I hope it gets noticed too. We all need to speak out and make a ruckus.

Decades ago, a reader wrote to Dear Abby or Ann Landers to share how her 8-year-old daughter had silenced a bully (an adult dinner guest) with two words: "You're mean!" Everyone was grateful.

Well, let's follow up that advice with voting he and his enablers out of office. Maybe even a few indictments after. Problem solved.
