Are You Done Being Bullied?
Because he and the others will only stop when you stand up.
You See It and You Feel It
Americans have always stood up to bullies. We teach our kids not to back down from intimidation, not to give power to those who thrive on fear. Yet somehow, in 2025, the biggest bully in our country sits behind the Resolute Desk. He mocks, threatens, and manipulates millions into believing cruelty is strength. It’s an abuse of power that corrodes everything our Constitution stands for.
You see it. You feel it. The daily noise, the lies, the anger that spreads like wildfire through families, workplaces, and neighborhoods. The name-calling that once shocked people now gets laughs on cable news. The slurs, the chants, the public shaming, all encouraged by a president who treats Americans as pawns in his game for control. This is not political theater anymore. It is a sustained campaign to normalize humiliation and division so that fear replaces reason.
The Cost of Bullies in Power
Every bully needs an audience, and this one has billion-dollar media machines feeding the fire. Networks and influencers amplify his voice for profit while families pay the price. People turn off their televisions exhausted, wondering how their country became a place where truth no longer matters and cruelty is rewarded.
You pay the price at the grocery store and gas pump when economic chaos drives up costs and nobody in power cares enough to fix it. You pay when clean air and water protections disappear so corporate donors can pocket record profits. You pay when public officials attack the press, silence protest, and punish anyone who dares to question authority. You pay every time another law strips away a piece of your freedom or limits your right to vote.
Bullies always look for silence. They count on good people to look away. That silence is the soil where corruption grows. Every unchecked insult becomes permission for the next abuse. Every fake emergency or power grab becomes a test to see how much we will tolerate.
The current administration has learned that lesson well. It has declared false national emergencies to try and control cities like Chicago, New York, Portland, and Los Angeles, painting them as war zones so military force can be used to intimidate its own citizens. It has sent masked federal agents into neighborhoods without warrants or identification to detain people as if due process no longer applies. It has drained taxpayer dollars to build personal monuments, remodeling parts of the White House into a private palace, as if the presidency were a crown instead of a duty.
The Damage Runs Deep
When lies go unchecked, democracy stops breathing. Every insult against a journalist, every attack on a judge, every assault on voting rights tears another fiber from the flag that holds us together. We have watched this administration treat oversight as an inconvenience, the Constitution as optional, and human decency as weakness. The result is a nation growing numb to outrage, divided by mistrust, and tired of chaos.
Our children are watching this. They are learning from the example we set. They see grown adults in government mocking disabilities, demeaning women, and using power to crush critics. What lesson do they take from that? That leadership is about domination, not service. That truth is flexible. That morality bends for the powerful.
How We End It
Bullies do not stop until someone stronger stands up. You have that strength. You have the voice, the vote, and the power to end this cycle. The next election is not a date on a calendar. It is a turning point for the soul of this country. Your ballot is not a piece of paper. It is your statement that enough is enough.
Stand up and speak up. Vote for leaders who believe in decency, honesty, and accountability. Support local journalism that tells the truth. Spend your money with businesses that value workers and fairness. Protect teachers, veterans, and public servants who still believe in service over self.
Bullies fear courage more than anything else. When you refuse to be intimidated, they lose control. When you show up at the polls, you take back your voice. When you speak out, others find the courage to do the same.
The Message America Must Send
Today, and every day until the midterms, we send a clear message. The era of bullies in power is ending. No more fake emergencies. No more billion-dollar tax breaks for the rich while families struggle. No more militarizing our streets to silence dissent. No more government by insult, manipulation, and greed.
This is your country. Your democracy. Your future. You have the right to demand honesty, fairness, and respect from every person who holds office. You have the responsibility to protect the generations coming after you from inheriting a broken system held together by lies.
Stand tall. Speak loudly. Vote with conviction. America’s bullies have had their time. That time ends now.

Decades ago, a reader wrote to Dear Abby or Ann Landers to share how her 8-year-old daughter had silenced a bully (an adult dinner guest) with two words: "You're mean!" Everyone was grateful.
