Monthly, Annual and Founding Members: Political Fact Checking Prompt

People ask me this all the time—how do you know what you're writing is true, and how do you check a breaking political story before you post or comment about it—and here's my answer: I've been doing this a long time, and forty years as a trial lawyer teaches you to spot a lie fast, to know what's true, what's exaggerated, and what's been ripped out of context to make somebody look bad, and that instinct is real and it matters. I also use sources. But here's the deal, experience, instinct and sources alone will not save you, so I built a system. Over the last two years I developed a two-part prompt that lets me satisfy my due diligence on accuracy in minutes (sometimes seconds) instead of hours—it's fast, it works, and you can start using it today.
