Another comment from me. I'm glad you decided to speak up, use your voice when you could no longer stand by and watch this corrupt administration tear up our Constitution and democracy.....not caring what everyone thought. You have a strong, intelligent, insightful voice. Keep it up, it's appreciated by many!!
I love this Mitch. I feel the same way. Since moving to Florida I decided that even though I'm in MAGA country, I must speak the truth. I did get some bullies on line tell me to move back to California. But I also received many notes from people by email or text me or even tell me in person that they agree with me and they are glad I speak up in my Florida community. Now they also need to speak their concerns. As you do this you give others permission to do this. Thank you so much Mitch.
Thank you for the timely pep-talk, Mitch. 🫱🏻🫲🏽 We all come from different political colors on the spectrum; 🗽now is that time to put that on the shelf and fight the good fight.💪🏾
A long time ago when my son was in high school he played football. His first year there was a mandatory coaches, players and parents meeting. He laid out his hopes and expectations for the players, the team, the parents and the season. I no longer remember many of the particulars, but Coach Shepherd said one thing that never left me or any family member. Simply stated, the coach said, "Be careful who you decide to hang with. When making those decisions, make sure they measure up to your bar, your standards, and that you are not lowering your bar and compromising your standards." When you do the right thing for the right reason, you will find friends and supporters up and down the board. This is something my family never forgot and I just wanted to share that anecdote with you to thank you and offer the encouragement to continue that which resides within you. God bless, Mitch.
Great story, Lawrence. Thanks so much for sharing. My dad and coaches shared the same message. It didn’t make that much sense back then, but with time and experience comes a bit of wisdom, and it all became clear during life’s journey. So, did your son follow their advice? What’s he up to today? And while we’re here, thanks for your ongoing engagement, comments, suggestions, and support!
Glad to be able to share. I funded my son's Bachelors degree. He funded his Masters. That was the deal we made. He took it very much to heart and we still recall the meeting and words to this day when life events don't always go according to plan. He is a Speech Pathologist and works primarily with victims of stroke. A lot of loss involved, but he continues to raise the bar for himself, his 2 daughters, his patients and co-workers. You are more than welcome for everything I can muster. I choose to remain optimistic because I will go to the mat fighting autocracy.
Mitch, this post captures exactly why you’re one in a million. Your courage to speak truth when it matters most—and your unwavering respect for the law and its purpose—embody what integrity looks like in action. You’ve never been one to chase approval; you lead by conviction and by doing what’s right, even when it’s uncomfortable. Your voice reminds people that democracy only works when principled people like you refuse to stay silent. Thank you for honouring your calling with such passion and clarity.
Thank you Judith. I have the pleasure of knowing Mitch for many years now, and consider myself fortunate to have him as a friend and confidant. He is a good human being as well as a great lawyer.
So glad you have him as a friend!! He's sweet and so intelligent. He actually called me the other day to answer one of my questions!! I couldn't believe it!! I could have spoken to him for hours!!

Dear Peter Goral,
So well said about Mitch. He is our voice of reason, strength, courage, and wisdom. Our North star in the darkness. Love what you said, so we'll too.
