I do wonder if the sheer number of lies is intentional. But: having judges sitting who are liars themselves and following the payoff money cannot stay in their positions in the courts, up to the Supreme Court. That has to be the first clean up part. Is that even possible under this Constitution? I don't know.

I don't know the US punishments for treason or sedition but in my opinion 30+ years US prison and death penalty let people think twice about taking down democracy. The law is the law to everybody who lives in the US. Removing money out of the law is essential.
Removing money out of politics ( $ 4000 per person or business per election, like other countries do) is a good start for bringing democracy back to the people. It is also a good idea to have only 3 months of campaigning allowed for US Presidency.
All corporations that are working with illegally downloaded data through Doge should be nationalized immediately to secure the data. It cannot stay in corporations, profit interest only hands. I think we all would be surprised which corporations are already working with illegally obtained data.
By the way, if we could pull off what Hungary pulled off on April 12, 2026 by having Independents and Dems getting united with over 60% in Congress and Senate we can make amendments to the Constitution to stabilize the US democracy and make sure this sh... can never happen again in our country. We all need to take a step back and take a closer look at what's really going on. Thursday night highlighted for me and many other Americans the extent of the problem of Trump and others in his administration lying on a daily basis. I think most Americans figured out this is happening, especially after the documentation of the number of lies in his first administration, but using a national address from the White House, as he did this past week, takes things to a whole other level. I have full confidence that we're going to start getting things fixed with the midterms.
I have spoken with folks who do indeed recognize the lies and we are so sick of it; not just the lies but the Congress people and media whose job it is to point out the lies. They have abdicated their responsibility. I worry about the folks who are not as well informed who are not aware of the rampant untruths from this administration. I also think this must be a difficult time for parents of growing children, who have to explain that the folks in charge of our government cannot be trusted and why not.
All of this. So, putting aside people who are not well informed and not capable of critical thinking, the good news is there are substantially more Americans who understand what is happening, are not OK with it, and who will be voting in the midterms. Focusing our attention on the 90 million eligible voters who sat on the sidelines in 2024 and getting them to show up in November is key to turning all of this around. Anyone who still supports this 34-time convicted felon and civilly adjudicated sexual offender, are a lost cause and are not going to change. And that's fine. We don't need them. This administration knows it, and that's why they're panicking. That's why they're pushing for any type of change that will make it more difficult for an American citizen to vote. As to children and young adults, it truly has been a difficult and challenging time with respect to government and leadership. For so many, this is all they've known. They see what's happening, and they're disappointed not only in what this administration is doing, but also with how so many adults in their lives appear to be going along with the dysfunctional exercise. Again, a massive turnout in the November midterms will hopefully provide them with encouragement and optimism moving forward.

Anyone who still supports this 34-time convicted felon and civilly adjudicated sexual offender, are a lost cause and are not going to change. And that's fine. We don't need them. This administration knows it, and that's why they're panicking. That's why they're pushing for any type of change that will make it more difficult for an American citizen to vote. As to children and young adults, it truly has been a difficult and challenging time with respect to government and leadership. For so many, this is all they've known. They see what's happening, and they're disappointed not only in what this administration is doing, but also with how so many adults in their lives appear to be going along with the dysfunctional exercise. Again, a massive turnout in the November midterms will hopefully provide them with encouragement and optimism moving forward.
