I was in conversation with someone whom I see regularly -- not a friend but a medical provider and the meeting was remote. I had already sensed as we have all learned to do -- they were pro-Trump. I choose to not speak of politics with them for that reason. But I do share what I've been up to and have in the past related I attended a local protest in the framework of participation in a local community event -- not a political discussion.
And the share has always been taken in that vein. But last week the provider after I shared that I recently received my COVID booster which was framed solely in reference to how I'm feeling after a recent medical diagnosis this provider left that conversation and launched into a rant about Fauci looking away from me to pull up a source and reading it aloud where whatever he was reading reported Fauci "just plead guilty to fraud" and has been charged and could serve up to 5 years in prison.
Now I have a handle on the status of the Fauci case and that is what makes these unsolicited forays into politics so difficult -- my knowledge is a reflection of my objective research and reading and staying up to date but despite my knowledge there is no audience for it so it feels like being muzzled -- however it is the better choice for to take the bait is truly harmful -- the anger and all that comes with it.
After that meeting I looked into it and all of his claims about Fauci's legal status were so off mark and completely false. What scares me is the acceptance without care and the spreading of false information literally re-writing history as we live it. I find this to be the case with otherwise intelligent, successful, and educated people. And today I woke up scared as the reality sunk in that I am not emotionally or physically safe in a nation where this part of human nature is running rampant. I am afraid today, but I'll work thru it. And in due course will find another provider.
Trump came in as a criminal in 2016 and a Russian asset. he should have been therally investigated, if he did he'd never have been president #45 & 47. he's basically trashing America and the world.
Trump is a place holder and a con artist chosen by our true enemy which is the Regime controlled by corporations and oligarchs. Biden warned of this in his last speech. Everyone should listen to that speech as it along with much of the work and words of Biden were buried by mainstream media.
Trump made a con man's deal in exchange for what he gained the biggest haul and a con man's dream come true. He will want to stay until nothing is left to take, but he will be replaced unless his plan to serve another four years is somehow pulled off and sanctioned by SCOTUS. But know that he is not in charge. Only reaping as much as he can sow while holding the most powerful role on the planet with access to the wealthiest Treasury. He is a con man who has scored the biggest con in his career.
However, the monied Regime is in charge, and they are focused on keeping us weak, afraid, defeated and divided. But there are many aspects of this "incorporation" that are points of light. Think of the trillions invested to divide us. Score one for the enemy for we were almost to the point of no return thoroughly and definitively divided. However, the investment reveals our enemy's flank which is their fear of the American people united.
We have in a short time experienced a forced maturation as a direct result of this crisis. Which is great because democracy cannot thrive in the care of a society whose level of maturation is barely adolescence.
We have also met each other on the street and online and on platforms such as this one and we can see clearly that we have more (if not everything) in common than we do not. Most especially our willingness to lay down our lives for the future of our children. It is in our DNA and in the coalescing, we have seen ourselves in everyone else and personally it gives me a sense of great pride and hope. I see in you the America I thought no longer existed.
But we must own where we are today. We allowed ourselves to be divided, and even before that time we allowed ourselves to be distracted neglecting the oversight and civic duty imperative as caretakers of our democracy.
But, as to the point of light for it is real. The focus on dividing us reveals our enemy's fear is the American people united. Secondly, Trump has surrounded himself with incompetence which is proving to be a fatal flaw. And we are at war. A war declared on we the people of America by our government.
