What He Should Have Said… and the Garbage We Got Instead
Version #1
Wouldn’t it be something if the President of the United States stepped up to a podium, looked the American people in the eye, and said this:
“I’m sickened, just like you, by any crime against children, especially the horrific abuse of minors by sexual predators. There’s nothing more vile.
I stand with every parent, survivor, and citizen who demands justice. And I’m committed to making sure every single child abuser is found, exposed, and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Right now, the Epstein and Maxwell case is front and center. It should’ve been dealt with long ago. Too many young lives were shattered because no one had the guts, or the integrity, to stop them.
That ends today.
I’m ordering the DOJ and FBI to immediately release every single document, photo and videos of the customers, witness statement, and report related to the Epstein and Maxwell case. The only exceptions? Victim identities, which will of course be redacted to protect their safety and dignity.
Regarding the Todd Blanche interview of Maxwell, we’re releasing all of the recordings and transcripts too. In fact, she’s being transported back to her original prison for the remainder of her appeal and if that’s denied, to serve out her full sentence.
And no, let’s be clear about the following: I don’t grant pardons to child predators.
We have nothing to hide. And no more time to waste. Every person involved, no matter how powerful, will be held accountable.”
Version #2
Instead, here’s what we actually got. No real news conference. No straight answers. Just a dodge “nothing to see” here, a jab at a reporter there, and then a bait-and-switch to some right-wing debunked conspiracy driven theory against Obama or Biden to distract our attention. Nothing honest. Nothing real. Just more smoke and mirrors.
No, instead, here are the exact statements President Trump has made:
On Jeffrey Epstein:
“I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy, he’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side, no doubt about it, Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”
On Ghislaine Maxwell:
“I just wish her well, frankly. I’ve met her numerous times over the years, especially since I lived in Palm Beach, but I wish her well, whatever it is.”
On visiting Epstein’s island:
“I never had the privilege of going to his island, and I did turn it down. In one of my very good moments, I turned it down.”
On Epstein recruiting women from Mar-a-Lago:
“He stole her from me.”
Let that sink in.
American needed version #1. We got version #2.
At this point and in my world, if you still support this guy, you’re not just looking the other way, you’re part of the problem.

The American People will never get anything close to truth from this administration. Liars lie. Thieves steal. Fraudsters commit more fraud, etc., etc. That is the world Donald Trump lives in. And his expectation is that we all accept his autocratic bullshit.
