Thank you for speaking up, and for your clarity. Real strength is all the examples you listed so accurately. A few more attributes come to mind (with counter-examples I can think of):

○ Taking responsibility when things go wrong (the Iran war)

○ Sharing the credit when things go to plan (Supreme Court appointments)

○ Not running around to the front of parade (Texas Senate candidate endorsement)

○ Taking setbacks graciously & maturely (Freedom 250 cancellations)

○ Being grateful for one's good fortune

Thank you once again Mitch, you are exactly right, unfortunately there are MURIKANS that love this behavior, there are TIK TOKs that show trump beating up on Biden and Obama but they can only put that in a TIK TOK because in real life trump is a cowardly punk ass who would lose his front teeth, so he's all make believe tough guy

I completely agree. Unfortunately, here in Georgia a MAGA sycophant has just won (on the back of Trump's endorsement) the GOP nomination for US Senate. He's an election denier, too.

Won the nomination, not the election. Big difference, and I'm expecting him to be the big loser in November.

I agree but it's disturbing to me that this kind of thinking still seems to prevail in the GOP.

Every time I see a Man & Women wearing a MAGA hat. I always want to ask “HOW insecure are U.” What has humanity taken from U? That U harbor so much hatred for the World.

Thank you, Mitchell, my father never raised his voice to my mother or his 5 children. He led by example. He worked hard every day. The child in our House is a disgrace and a horrible example for our sons. My sons know who he is and our not fooled. They are respectful to me, their wives and their daughters. We have to believe we can overcome this time.

Meanwhile, the depraved sociopath claims "victory": ~ 150x more $ than the Obama admin released to Iran. Worse than what Iran offered the Trump admin in February before Trump started his catastrophic war of choice. Ignoring the cost of the “excursion” in lives & weaponry the US will funnel over $300 Billion to Iran . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRdpTPFVFykhttps://www.nytimes.com/2026/06/15/opinion/-trump-lost-war-iran.html?smid=url-share

Real strength is learning from past mistakes and not repeating the same blunders over and over again. If Trump had any genuine strength, he would not continually reject the advice and guidance of people with greater expertise. Instead he surrounds himself with people, not who will challenge his inclinations and decisions but will line up to see who can say the next most outrageous thing like Marco Rubio stating UFC is equal to America landing a man on the moon. How far the bar has fallen.

I find it interesting and somewhat astonishing that the same crowd that applauds the spectacle of Trump and his unqualified cronies (Hegseth, Patel, Blanche, etc) also tote the Bible around like it belongs only to them. Where was the outrage when Trump refused to put his hand on the Bible while taking his oath of office? He showed his intent and the symbolism spoke volumes. I'm agnostic, but that made me take a pause. He has shown who he is in multiple ways, and yet his supporters refuse the truth.

Good piece Mitch but tell us something we dont know and either way--whats the point? He is president. He has us by the balls. We can do nothing--except maybe ignore all the bullshit and get on with our lives.
