Senator Van Hollen stated, “The U.S. should not be delivering weapons to the U.A.E. as it aids and abets this humanitarian disaster and gross human rights violations,” Mr. Van Hollen said in the statement. “We must stop this corrupt Trump family crypto-for-arms deal and use our leverage to prevent more suffering in Sudan — and bring its civil war to a peaceful resolution.”
Mitch, reading this made me shiver. It's undeniably a very awkward position that Donald Trump has placed both himself and the country in by aligning himself with these thugs. Birds of a feather come to mind, as Trump is envious of how their followers adore these two. He thinks that the American people will do the same to him if he only acts like and hangs around with them. This is so dangerous, as nothing good will come of this association.
It sends such a terrible message to the rest of the world. But, he's OK with it because the Trump family and business opportunities take priority. It doesn't matter who you are or what you did in the past, if you have the cash and resources, Donald will look the other way and cut a deal. It's disgusting.

He has nothing to lose, but someday he WILL die and cannot take anything with him. He will face judgment, but for now, he is living life to the fullest that anyone has EVER lived. I thought it was important to share with the everyday American voter who the President of the United States is rubbing elbows with while smiling like an 8 year old child. It's not OK. The news needs to be covering these details but isn't even brining up the past facts or related issues addressed in the article.

Appreciate your comment Linda. We need Congress to step up and start holding these bad actors accountable. The only way that happens is if we take back the majority in 2026. We need to focus on getting the 90M eligible voters who sat on the sidelines in 2024 to vote in each and every local and national election moving forward. If they do we will fix this problem. If they don't we are in for a very long 4 years and I'm not sure how much longer our Federal judges can hold the line.
