Isn't he afraid that if he resigns he'll go to prison?. Fraud, corruption, stealing from the people, violation of the emolument clause, his old felonies, tax evasion, and any other laws he broke and he kept from his prosecution while president. Maybe even treason or other international violation for his wars or secrets he gave to Putin. And of course, his guilt related to Epstein ....!

Can he really resign ??

June 2, 2026 Update: As I predicted, Todd Blanche told lawmakers the Justice Department is dropping the proposed $1.8 billion compensation fund for alleged victims of unfair prosecutions.

At the same time, he defended a settlement that gave the president, his family, and their businesses broad protection from future IRS investigations.

That doesn’t work for me.

It’s a bullshit deal that lacks any valid consideration.

What in the hell does future immunity have to do with addressing past frivolous allegations relating to a case that was dismissed by the alleged aggrieved parties.

Nothing.

Just like the underlying “settlement” I see the IRS deal also eventually being revoked voluntarily or by court order.

Mark my words. You're going to be reading much more about this case in the future.

What jurisdiction(s) are Blanche and Stan Woodward licensed in ?

"Bar discipline. Most accessible path. Anyone with knowledge of the violations can file a grievance. Bar complaints are public records once filed. They build pressure on signing counsel."

DC and New York.

Todd or Stanley ? Thank you for any information that you can provide.

Both are licensed in DC; Blanche is also licensed in NY.

A piece of fiction about the same news cycle — a retired Capitol Police officer reaches the same conclusion others have already been reaching, by a slower route. He has an idea about how to organize five million Americans to file. The piece is here if you want it:

What's missing here is that Trump can pardon everyone involved in this.

He has to go. The country can't wait for 2028 elections, which he will run in again...under way different rules than anything we've ever seen if I were to guess.

I still think the best chance for this country is for a group of angry GOP getting together with Dems to lead the charge for impeachment.

Mitch, can non-US citizens file bar complaints? Asking for a sizeable chunk of the European and UK population...

Yuk. Another AI- generated image.

Way to focus in on the issues and merits of the post. Just block my account and you won't have to see my images again. Also, what kind of person takes the time to jump into a complete stranger's post and complain about artwork? Seriously dude, get a life.

The only possible reason for the added "no IRS audits" portion is criminality. We must apply some DIY justice to TFG, his family, and their businesses, since they have rigged the system in their favor.

He was looking at a $100M IRS penalty/fine re his Chicago building. But not anymore.
