I was off site working yesterday, and scanned the news later. Please share where you are finding Democrats coming to the microphones!!! How could I have missed that later in the day? The news organizations are not placing this news on top of their platforms!! I need to give credit where credit is due. Thank you for sharing and keeping up with their efforts! Even when driving yesterday and listening to PBS and NPR and no such information.
During every interview about the government shutdown they are using the opportunity to address these issues. It's not a press conference. It's what they're saying during interviews and on social. Look, the problem isn't the dems not saying enough. The problem is what the MAGA Republicans are doing and how these actions are being manipulated and broadcasted by major news (which is now controlled by right-wing leading media owners). You're not going to see prominent dems being highlighted on major news outlets right now because their clips aren't being played. Right now the talking points need to be (1) Republicans are in control of the House, Senate and Oval Office. This is their shutdown. (2) Our cities are not "training" grounds for the military. Full stop.
So, here is what I am thinking…chicago will be the training ground to determine which generals will be fired in anticipation of Trump’s block of the mid-term elections, which will anger all of us. Trump will send in the remaining generals from everywhere to stop demonstrations. That will bring in his types of force against us like hitting, torture, death against everyone on the ground. They may hunt us down based on remarks on social media and press to enforce their final goal of complete takeover of all branches of government, justices, congress, senate, etc. Our rights will end. That is unless the generals step in as they know we are unable to defeat the beast. How far off am I?
I appreciate where you're coming from, Beverly. And frankly, at this point, anything could happen. But I don't see this happening. Despite all the loud noise, I think there is a line, and if it's ever crossed, Trump will be shut down by the next wave of MAGA Republicans who are looking out for their own best interests.
