An executive order is not a law. It is a statement about how to interpret a law. When the Idiot makes an illegal executive order that is not based on law, we must fight back, yet by what mechanism does the Idiot amass power by presuming powers he simply does not have? Or, is this the nature of corruption, that when the Idiot issues an illegal order, a hundred (or a hundred-thousand) monkeys jump to obey, creating false power structures that other corrupt branches of government then enforce, presuming them into existence?
One wonders how these lawyers can keep their licenses. The ABA Model Rules provide:
Rule 5.4: Professional Independence of a Lawyer
"(c) A lawyer shall not permit a person who recommends, employs, or pays the lawyer to render legal services for another to direct or regulate the lawyer's professional judgment in rendering such legal services."
Applied here, we have a president who's justice department employs the lawyer to provide legal services to the United States of America. Although Donald Trump does not see a distinction between he and the government of the United States of america, they are separate people. And we have the same person, using his executive branch authority, to issue this directive which compromises the independent judgment of the lawyers in their representation of the governmental entity, rather than the individual who occupies the office.
Looks to me like remaining in an employment situation with those types of restrictions is fundamentally incompatible with one's ethical responsibilities.
One more thing to be concerned about, every damn day. Does he EVER just shut up and quit using his damn EO SHARPIE????? He cannot be gone soon enough!! Stripping us of every right we have every damn day, a new one. Pleeeeezzze, if there is a God, let him choke on a Big Mac very soon, we can't take anymore.
Trump & Co project corruption & fraud everywhere. Of all Trump’s kleptocracy schemes, Trump’s $10 billion heist/shameless fleecing of the US Treasury/taxpayer funds is perhaps the most shameless. One of his criminal defense attorneys & now acting US Attorney General is proposing to “settle” Trump’s claims for Billions over leaking of his tax returns which other presidential candidates have released.

I think you missed the "Piggy" off the end of this, Mitch...

It's time to release the song "Made America Plagued Again." Because that's all Trump has done all these years.
I can't believe this! Why are more people not speaking out?
Pretty authoritarian. I think the boundary into authoritarian rule has been breached.
