Trump Lost This War And You Are Paying The Price

Donald Trump wants you to believe he won this war. He stands on television today and claims total victory. I read the entire fourteen paragraph agreement he signed. I practice law. I analyze documents for a living. The words on the page tell a completely different story.

The paper exposes a devastating surrender. Once you see the truth hidden in the fine print you will understand exactly how Trump failed America. Because of his decisions and actions Trump lost this war. The fallout will damage our country for decades.

I love our country. I want every service member safe at home. I want the bombs to stop falling. But this is all on Donald Trump.

He chose to start Operation Epic Fury. He rebranded the Defense Department as the Department of War. He dropped the bombs. Thirteen American families lost their children. You paid the bill at the gas pump and the grocery store. Our global standing collapsed. Our democracy erodes right under our feet.

The Heavy Price You Paid

In February 2026 the United States launched massive strikes inside Iran. Iran fired back across the entire Middle East. The violence dragged dozens of nations into the crossfire. A major global shipping lane became a violent combat zone. Thirteen American service members died. Almost four hundred more suffered severe injuries. Thousands of people across the region lost their lives.

His story changed with each interview. The left hand didn’t know what the right hand was doing. This wasn’t just a distraction away from the Epstein files, it was and still is a complete sh*t show.

Your wallet took a direct blow. The Pentagon burned through roughly two billion dollars a day at the peak of the fighting. Independent trackers estimate the total cost easily exceeds one hundred billion dollars. Economists warn the final bill will reach close to a trillion dollars once we pay the interest and absorb the massive economic damage.

Gas prices crossed well past six dollars a gallon in California and four to five dollars in many other areas of the country. Inflation spiked to the highest mark in three years. Every dollar the government spent on bombs was a dollar you lost. You lost the ability to fill your gas tank and buy groceries easily.

Congress Voted To Stop This

The Constitution grants the power to declare war exclusively to Congress. The people you elected represent you. One man in the Oval Office does not hold the right to send our troops into battle alone. The War Powers Resolution requires lawmakers to vote and approve any ongoing military action. On June 3 2026 the House of Representatives voted to end this conflict.

Every Democrat and four Republicans joined forces to stop the fighting. The people you elected told the President to stop. He ignored them. He pushed forward and sent his final agreement to the United Nations for approval. Foreign governments get to review his deal. Your own representatives get shut out.

You Lost Your Bargaining Power

For weeks Iran blocked the Strait of Hormuz. A fifth of the global oil supply travels through those waters daily. The blockade caused global energy prices to whip out of control. The United States responded with a naval blockade on Iranian ports. The pressure forced Tehran to the negotiating table.

Trump gave away this massive advantage immediately. The new agreement lifts the American blockade within thirty days. Iranian ports will reopen. Oil will flow to their biggest customers. Money will flood back into Tehran. The economic grip we held will disappear. Iran has every reason to drag out the peace talks because they get to collect oil revenue the entire time.

The financial relief arrives even sooner. The moment they sign the memo Iranian crude oil flows freely. Banking and shipping receive a free pass. Republican leaders call this a total giveaway. They say the reconstruction money handed to Iran makes past agreements look like pocket change.

Read the fine print regarding the strait. Iran promises safe passage with no tolls for exactly sixty days. After the clock runs out Iran gains the ability to charge ships for a service they provided for free for decades. The administration promised trade would return to normal. The ink barely dries before the promise falls apart.

What We Gave And What We Got

Look at the facts plainly. The United States lifts the naval blockade. The United States pulls forces back from the immediate region surrounding Iran. The administration ends every sanction. The United States issues Treasury waivers so Iranian banking and shipping flow freely. The administration releases restricted Iranian funds. The Central Bank of Iran gets to use the money for anyone they choose.

Look at Iran in return. Iran repeats a promise to never build a nuclear weapon. They made the exact same promise fifty years ago. They agree to dilute some enriched material on their own soil at a later date. They keep the current status of their nuclear program. They agree to talk about enrichment down the road.

Vague promises to talk later mean nothing. Paragraph eight is the only section addressing the nuclear program. The language becomes blurry everywhere precision matters. The inspectors have no access to Iranian sites. The head of the international nuclear agency suspects enough highly enriched fuel remains buried to build several warheads. We fought a massive war to stop a nuclear threat. We emerged blind.

We traded thirteen American lives and billions of dollars for a weak promise. The Obama administration locked Iran into a strict agreement with hard numbers and daily inspections. Trump tore the old agreement to shreds. He chose to fight a war. Now we have weaker oversight than we did before the bombs fell.¹

The Billions We Surrendered And Unwritten Deals

Paragraph six includes the number you need to see. The document creates a three hundred billion dollar fund for Iranian reconstruction. The administration claims American taxpayers will not fund the account. The Vice President went on television to say foreign partners and private investors will supply the cash. The administration relies on vague informal side deals. They ignore concrete written rules. Written commitments exist because informal deals fall apart.

The agreement states the United States will broker the fund and grant all necessary licenses. The United States serves as the guarantor for the entire operation. The men telling you no taxpayer money goes to Iran are the same men who promised a fast war. They are the same men who swore they destroyed the Iranian nuclear program in 2025. You deserve to see the receipts.

Paragraph eleven speeds up the cash flow. Iran gets immediate access to frozen funds. The money totals roughly twenty four billion dollars. The funds become available the moment they sign the memo. The document places absolutely zero restrictions on the money. The Central Bank of Iran directs the cash wherever they want. The money will easily fund military accounts and terror groups.

This President built a political brand attacking his predecessors for sending money to Tehran. His own deal releases billions of dollars. The fund he created towers over anything he previously condemned.

A Dangerous Region And Internal Rot

The document completely ignores the missile arsenal. Intelligence reports indicate the Iranian missile stockpile remains at seventy percent capacity. The agreement does nothing to stop money from reaching proxy fighters across the region. The United States agreed to withdraw certain troops. Israeli forces refuse to stand down in Lebanon. Iran keeps the rockets. Iran keeps the proxies. Iran keeps the fuel. Iran gets the money. Iran regains the oil markets. Iran secures a shipping lane they intend to monetize.

This outcome leaves Tehran globally isolated. Neighboring states now view the Iranian regime as a direct threat. These countries actively expand security partnerships. They build fortified borders against future aggression.

The Iranian regime faces severe internal decay. Economic stagnation and widespread political dissatisfaction place massive internal pressure on their government. Years of mismanagement and political repression have severely damaged the Iranian economy. Foreign investors will stay away due to unpredictable governance. Trump and his enablers want to frame this as a calculated peace. The reality shows they handed a lifeline to a crumbling authoritarian state.

Your Power To Fix This

The shooting stopped. Thirteen families have some small level of closure. For now, no fourteenth family will join them in mourning.

If you’re as angry as I am about all of this, hold on to it. None of those families deserved to lose their children. This was a war of choice. One man started the fighting. He ignored the Constitution. He paid for his war with your paycheck and the lives of American soldiers. He ended the violence by handing the enemy everything they wanted. He secured zero lasting protections.

We received a broken version of the previous agreement. The safeguards are gone. The inspectors are locked out.

The supposed peace they sell you is a total lie. And if history is any indication of what’s to come, this decades long conflict with Iran isn’t close to being over.

Read the memorandum yourself. Call your representative. Ask them who voted to start the violence and who voted to end the violence. Take the answer with you into the November midterms.
