Please see this morning’s updated post (05-19-26) “Trump’s $1.776 Billion “Anti-Weaponization Fund” Breaks Federal Law Before a Single Claim Gets Paid”

It shares my full legal analysis and identifies eight federal statutes the settlement breaks on its face, names the personal criminal and bar exposure of every signatory, and gives you a step-by-step playbook to file IG complaints, bar grievances, and FOIA requests before a single dollar moves https://mitchthelawyer.substack.com/p/trumps-1776-billion-anti-weaponization?r=2fe7t3&utm_campaign=post-expanded-share&utm_medium=web

This is seed money for MAGA 3.0 on January 20, 2029. These people have no intentions of ever ceding power. And as long as they've got six SCOTUS seats, they could pull it off.

Mitch Jackson's avatar

We're not going to let that happen. Litigation is already being filed and served. We're taking back majority control in the midterms. Game on!

Lets all just stop paying taxes and become zealots for 2nd Amendment. Get ready. Its inevitable. Dixie is rising. Corruption is stealing our money. And AI will put almost all the educated out of work.

Mitch Jackson's avatar

That's one option. But maybe, and I'm just spitballing here, simply vote in the midterms.

SVT's avatar

Right? But it's the United States of America - of course, the only possible answer is "GUNS!"

I am continually gobsmacked at the absolute ENABLING of Trump’s corruption and illegal maneuvers by so-called Professional Lawyers. Lawyers that have a duty to, you know, the LAW…and something called Professional Ethics.

JFC, these people 🤬🖕🏻

Mitch Jackson's avatar

Yes we do. Most of us take that oath seriously. Some, not so much.

Agree.

"The Republic will be reorganised into the first Galactic Empire, for a safe and secure society" I envision Trump will most likely plagiarize Palpatine somewhere near the end of his term, in a desperate ploy to stay in power forever... "Unlimited Power!" His Bunker is part of the plan.

Mitch Jackson's avatar

We're not going to let that happen. Watch what happens in the midterms.

Trump says no thank you to $10 Billion from his DOJ; Just set up a ~$2 Billion slush fund for my convicted fraudsters & violent insurrectionists. Gym Jordan: America's not America if you have a Justice Dept that is political.

Trump & Co project corruption & fraud everywhere while promoting/pardoning hate groups, starting wars of choice & trashing economies. The Golden Age?

Resist the authoritarianism of the MAGA gangsters & grifters! VoteBlue!

Mitch Jackson's avatar

Resist, stand tall, be loud, and vote in this year's midterms. That's my suggestion.

Pamela Frazier's avatar

I'm confused at this point whether the slush fund is real.

Mitch Jackson's avatar

I'm calling it a conspiracy document.

THE FACT THAT TRUMP PAID NO TAXES FOR YEARS IS BEING BURIED WITH THIS LEAK! WE NEED TO SCREAM THIS OVERLOOKED INJUSTICE‼️ WE have to pay taxes, Trump should too! Isn’t that a FELONY??

Mitch Jackson's avatar

I think the big issue with this tax has more to do with the Chicago building audit and investigation reported by The New York Times. If he was found liable, it would have cost him more than $100 million.

Marlo's avatar

It needs to be stopped immediately. First, no Judge approved ANY settlement so this settlement cannot be valid.

Second, Blanche is merely an “ACTING” AG. While an

acting AG has the same statutory authorities as a confirmed AG in most respects, there are important distinctions:

Why “acting” matters here:

• Blanche was never confirmed by the Senate, meaning he lacks the democratic accountability that Senate confirmation provides

• The “Vacancies Reform Act” limits what acting officers can do, particularly for actions of major legal or policy consequence

• Courts have sometimes been skeptical of significant unilateral actions taken by unconfirmed acting officials

• An action of this magnitude — permanently shielding a president’s finances from federal scrutiny — is arguably well outside the routine scope of an acting officer’s authority

The self-dealing is even more glaring:

• Blanche was Trump’s personal criminal defense attorney before becoming acting AG

• He personally defended Trump in the New York fraud trial and other cases

• He now signed a document permanently protecting his former client from IRS investigation

• That’s a textbook conflict of interest, and under normal ethics rules he should have recused himself entirely

The bigger constitutional picture:

A sitting president, using an unconfirmed acting AG who is his former personal lawyer, quietly added terms to a settlement with his own government’s agencies — bypassing a federal judge who had already raised red flags — to permanently immunize himself and his family from tax scrutiny.

Whether or not it survives legal challenge, it’s an extraordinary concentration of self-interest in a single government action.

They're acting much like a regime that has no intention of giving up power, regardless of election outcomes. If we do succeed in voting the regime out, they'll likely flee to the Middle East and South America. Bon Voyage.

Mitch Jackson's avatar

It's not up to him whether he stays or goes. It's up to the American people how we vote.

Elizabeth Goodden's avatar

Great article, thank you so much!💯👍

Mitch Jackson's avatar

You're welcome. My pleasure.

It was always about the theft.

Let’s just agree, the J6 defendants will see very little, if any, of this money. Trump will take it.

Where are the Bar Association (s)?

Toni Shanti's avatar

We're now living a beyond dystopian existence. Unbelievable.

Mitch Jackson's avatar

I'm not. I'm going to keep standing tall and being loud. I'm going to keep protesting, speaking, writing, and litigating the issues. I'm going to keep making sure that everyone is registered and shows up to vote in this year's midterms. Democracy is tough and we're just getting started.

Toni Shanti's avatar

Resistance is NOT futile. Something we all have to remember, every single day.

Mitch Jackson's avatar

It's not at all. As a matter of fact it works and it works very well. Let's continue to talk, strategize, and take action so that we can take majority control back from Congress in the midterms and start positioning ourselves for the 2028 presidential election.

He won’t live long enough to be in prison as long as he should be…

Prison. That word has a nice ring to it.
