It is no longer a party issue ... it is a decency issue. I was never tired, never exhausted, and NEVER defeated. I am very angry about the hijacking that has been allowed and tolerated. That lies solely at the feet at the people who sat on the sidelines and did not bother to vote in 2024. See what happens when you allow apathy to dominate civic responsibility? Then you have the largely Gumby GOP Congress that cannot find their conscience, moral compass or remember what it was "they" always said "they" stood for. It has devolved into republicans who stand for nothing. Not your freedom. Not your rights. And they damn sure have abandoned their oath and the Constitution in one motion. The people allowed this. It will be the solemn responsibility for the people to throw the emergency brake and fix this mess. Make sure you do your part in the badly needed overhaul we need to fuel in November, 2026.

I agree that the R’s are wearing out their welcome with the confusion, chaos and complete inability to hear what their constituents are saying—and doing. BUT-is the D party doing any better? The significant words coming from members of the Democratic Party are being said by Pete Buttigieg, Elise Slotkin, J. B. Pritzker, as well as individual members of Congress and local leaders, not the DNC leaders. That’s not a bad thing, but around whom are we to rally? I think we need a quartet or trio of in sync people who are not stuck in the same platitudes, attitudes and worries about “how it plays”, and are willing to build a great team. Enough of the savior syndrome-build the party from the grassroots up, now.
