I watched a video by Adam Mockler and he makes a good point about missing the bigger picture. Many of us on the left felt somewhat relieved because the shooter was not a liberal, minority or trans. And the statistics support a finding that many of these violent shootings are committed by young men with a far right ideology. The shooter might have been upset with Kirk because he was not far right enough. The biggger question is my mind is why young men are willing to kill others or die for their beliefs. If a school shooting takes place, while the shooter might have been far right, I seriously doubt that the shooter kills young kids for being Republican or Democrat. So, what did the killing solve? They have ruined the lives of so many people, including themselve, for no solution. If I were President, I would assemble a task force to investigate the radicalization of our kids and encourage parents to pay more attention to what their kids are doing on social media.

But here's the deal. Trump doesn't care. In his own words yesterday morning: He was asked “How do we fix this country? How do we come back together?” on Fox & Friends, Donald Trump replied: “I tell you something that is going to get me in trouble, but I couldn’t care less.”
The solution is in the hands of the voter. It starts now and carries over to the 2026 midterms, if they happen.
