I think you left out the last paragraph on how we will have an organized protest at the Kennedy Center with people who do not want the name changed. Many of us feel a lack of leadership and would like to do more than complain.
Trump has placed his name on many buildings around the world which he does not own. The sheer effrontery of placing his name before the beloved name of JFK is shocking even to the practiced mind of this clinical psychologist, who knows that Trump is diagnosably psychopathic. I am reminded that in the years following the death of Stalin in 1953, there was a systematic program of de-Stalinization throughout the Soviet bloc. There had been a massive statue of Stalin by the river in Prague. It was removed and replaced with a giant metronome, indicating that the tick-tock of time can wipe out the influence of any demagogue. May such a change occur in our country very soon.
It's a total disgrace to JFK, the arts, the history, our memorials if Trump gets away w renaming the Kennedy Center. As usual, he will go the illegal route, ignore Congress, etc. Even if it did go to Congress, all of his cronies put in the exact right place would accept the name change. Am I getting this wrong Mitch?? Can Congress approve it??? He manages to get everything done that he wants to, no matter how illegal, now matter if he's pissing on our Constitution or historical monuments or important people and places.
