I salute independent journalists who are keeping us better informed. I thought that I HAD been a student of history AND a conscienceous citizen... but the more the onion is being peeled away, the deeper I see the conspiracy HAS/IS been operating... and see how often and in how many ways I was effectively SUCKED into the mire...
In my defence - NEVER was I snowed by Trump’s rhetoric... BUT, no, I didn't see the size and scope of the "machine"!
Again, thank you to those with the courage to step forward and speak out - and give us insight into finding out "we are not alone" in our beliefs of democracy, decency, ethics, etc., etc.! And for giving us an open door/direction to join the fight of our lives. I have always said - "i may not be able to fight on the front lines, but I can load the ammunition"... Rosie the Riveter of the 2020's.
Speaking out IS our best weapon. Continue to believe, and continue to move forward. Every morning it gives me strength to see "the SHIFT"!!!
I really enjoy your posts. I'm in the UK but I feel we are only a few steps behind you. I'm booked on a Non Violent Communication course soon it's targeted at people planning peaceful protests but I also feel it will be good for talking with friends and family with different opinions. It is hard to talk politics here and has been going back to Brexit which caused major splits within the UK and involved huge lies & misinformation from Boris Johnson so very similar to the Trump game plan.

12. On climate change reemphasize solar wind and even ocean waves for generating electricity.
13. Slow down the adoption of AGI and all the infrastructure and power requirements and cooling it's a disaster not that it's not good but the paces exponential and not sustainable in the near future put in place of 10-year plan.
14. I worry about the global implementation of cbdc and digital ID across the board and the elimination of cash by 2030 which is a global banking scam to take power from the middle class. Look at what's China's done and they're well on their way if not already to a national digital ID which controls every aspect of your financials banking and global credits of some sort it's scary.
15. The white nationalism movement needs to be thwarted and also related to that is the impact of Islamic law on various communities such as Dearborn Michigan New York City and upcoming and all other communities that are being taken over. This is a goal of Islam and they're very patient and that's the danger Europe is facing this as well as Australia and the UK not to mention a few but there are many more on the horizon.
16. Any other items that impact families love community and the rule of law I'm sure there's more than enough for you or is probably 10 more on my list but being an engineer and a pragmatic optimist I will suffice for now good luck!
Keep doing what you are doing! This non practicing lawyer appreciates it. I don’t have the energy to read everything you write (or what Heather Cox Richardson, and others are writing. ). It’s too much. But I do read some of it and it’s great you are putting an intelligent analysis on the tsunami of bad things this administration is doing (and that the sycophants are allowing). Keep it up!
You can bet I will Stephen. My team and I, along with our active community members, are not slowing down until all of these problems are solved. Tsunami is the perfect term for what it feels like right now. But we’ll start turning things around in the 2026 midterms. Good things are coming.

2 affordability what's going to be fixed.
3 RFK Jr a disaster fixed the CDC HHS and everything that he's touched and put it back to normal.
4 ice needs to be dismantled and the CBP needs to be redefined as to their responsibilities again
5. Start a new tax on billionaires with the house we can implement this flat tax would be one simple way to address this across the board
6 universal health Care tough one but we're behind everybody else in the world since we're so rich it's redistribute the wealth back to the middle class and the lower class
7 keep the EV credits in place and somehow make those autos more affordable too
8. Big pharma needs to be taken out and controls in place.
9. Get rid of the big real estate companies that buy a blocks of housing and raise the rents this is stupid not for them but for America and general
10. I know there are more but this ought to give you somewhat of a choice pick any five.
