Thanks Mitch for writing this important article on the Iranian war that Trump and Netanyahu started, for apparently no reason. He told us that he incapacitated Iran's ability to enrich Uranium, by bombing their 5 enrichment labs last June 2025. So where is the imminent threat of Iran using nuclear weapons. Even Gabbard couldn't answer Ossoffs questions at the meeting just held yesterday I think, I watched it again today on C-Span. She deflected every question he asked her, that she wrote in her own report!! Unbelievable. This war not only affects the economy, cost of fuel, cost of goods, cost of lives, but also is an environmental disaster, all of those bombed oil rigs, boats, refining sites is causing a huge amount of air pollution and potentially harming a whole ocean ecosystem. Never mind it's wasting precious, limited supplies of fossil fuels, energy resources, in our Earth's deep layers.

We should be switching to cleaner, more sustainable, biodegradable forms of energy, but while we're developing that technology, I'm afraid that fossil fuels will need to be used in the meantime. While still using fossil fuel, causing an increase globally in raising climate change pollutants, we need to try to offset that CO2 increase. Re-greening land, planting trees, even greening cities, planting tones of trees along sidewalks, parks, empty lots, doing whatever we can to create carbon sinks.

Just my thoughts.

Trump is stupid. It is that simple. He cannot see past his own ego. This "war" is the Epstein War to take our attention off Trump, rather than hearing about how some 15-year-old bit his Mr. Wiggly just before he slugged her. This "war" is a crime against humanity. Trump has lost many of his most ardent, if not rabid, supporters. Joe Rogan, not known for his left-wing bias, has labeled this Insane.

Mitch, this is absolutely bonkers — and it’s hard to understand how anyone connected to this decision-making process could be so utterly disconnected from reality. The implications are staggering, and it’s clear now that this has gone far beyond politics or policy blunders. We’re looking at consequences that touch every household and business on the planet. There’s no walking this back — we’ve reached a point of no return, and it’s terrifying to see how recklessness at the top has detonated real-world systems that keep the global economy steady.

Thank you for an informative description of the economic crisis developing across the globe because of Trump’s dirty war with Iran.
