I have no problem with the death penalty but making it a public spectacle is disgusting. In addition, we are giving him what he wants. Martyrdom. A life sentence in solitary confinement would be the worst possible outcome in his mind but it wouldn’t satisfy our bloodlust.
This idea is an abomination. What I feel is really going on here is that this is a test run to see if the American public can stomach can stomach military shooting domestically, in prep for potential mid term and 2028 mayhem.
