When a president lies from the most powerful microphone in the world, those lies shape beliefs, influence behavior, and erode public trust.
This post slows that moment down. Sentence by sentence. Claim by claim. Below, I present the speech exactly as delivered and use our law firm’s AI to evaluate each statement against verifiable facts and data. No spin. No counter-rhetoric. Just the truth, clearly labeled.

When you slow this speech down and evaluate it sentence by sentence, the scale of the problem becomes undeniable. Out of 132 sentences that made factual claims, more than 75% were outright false, and another 13.6 percent were partially false, blending fragments of truth with distortion. Fewer than 10 percent were even partially true, and not a single factual sentence stood on its own as fully accurate without significant caveats.
Here is the bottom line. A democracy cannot function when truth becomes optional, when exaggeration replaces evidence, and when repetition is used as a substitute for reality. The sheer volume of false and misleading statements in this speech is not accidental. It is strategic. The goal is exhaustion. Confusion. A public that shrugs and moves on. That is how norms collapse quietly.
You do not push back by yelling louder. You push back by staying grounded. By naming what is true and what is not. What so many of us saw — was a man unraveling in real time, clinging to the same tired grievances and hollow bravado that used to work but no longer lands. What was once manipulation now just looks pathetic. He’s losing his grip, and even his most loyal followers are starting to see through the performance. This wasn’t leadership; it was the sound of panic disguised as power.
Hmmm. Let us see the doozies.
“Our country was being invaded by an army of 25 million people.” [FALSE] There is no evidence of 25 million migrants entering during that period, nor does migration constitute an “invasion.” HMMM. Keeps going up from eleven million to thirteen to eighteen to twenty-one to twenty-five. So thirty-five next month.
“The world laughed at us.” [FALSE] There is no objective evidence supporting this assertion. HMMM. I disagree. The world laughed at us, alright . . . for electing this harangutan.
“The last four years were ruled by politicians who fought only for insiders and foreign nations.” [FALSE] This is a generalized accusation unsupported by evidence. HMMM. So glad there is no insider corruption or foreign influence. When did being so clean feel so dirty?
“I settled eight wars in 10 months.” [FALSE] No record supports this claim. HMMM. The only peace prize this trumpanzee will win is the Lenin Peace Prize. Too bad; besmirches Paul Robeson et al.
“Drug prices are dropping by 400 to 600 percent.” [FALSE] Prices cannot drop more than 100 percent. HMMM. I disagree. In a universe of one, anything and any number goes.
