Mitch, you honor your ancestors with every step you take. Their spirit flows through you, shaping your path and guiding your voice. Keep sharing the wisdom of the ages—this is not just history, but a living, breathing legacy carried forward through you. Just as your great-grandfather faced adversity with unyielding grace, you carry that same fire—unapologetic in your resilience, unwavering in your hope. You are not simply a reflection of the past; you are its continuation, its evolution, its proof that strength endures and truth prevails.
I just got back to the office after a long day in court. Thank you. I needed to see this. It made my day and I hope you know how much I appreciate your support. My Thursday morning issue is going to be a good one— “Trump’s $90 Million Birthday Parade: A Vanity Project Dressed as Patriotism – and a Slap in the Face to Every American”
I can't love this enough, Mitch. Thank you for sharing. We are obligated to carry the torch of our ancestors and that's why we'll win in the end – there are more of us than them.
Here's is my Great Aunt's Uncle ... not sure what that makes him to me... but, as you can see he was a bit of a bad ass himself... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Melchior
He was at the table for Germany to negotiate the Treaty of Versailles, later after he became the partner of a German firm he was forcibly removed from his position by the Nazis, for his Jewish ethnicity. This happened while his colleagues remained silent. He later, and you won't find this in the Wikipedia entry, took his own life.
I'm still putting the pieces of the stories together, but have to take breaks from my reading of memoirs and biographies. My grandmother escaped Germany and fled to the U.S., many of her aunts, uncles and other family members did not - many perished in the concentration camps.
This is personal to me, and I, like you am determined to speak out no matter what the consequences.

Well said. Let millions read this and feel the same.
Thank you Brenda. I hope that happens. Even more so, I hope we save democracy!
You give eloquence and passion to what so many of us feel. Well said!
Thank you.
A small part of America made this vote. Here's why. https://mitchthelawyer.substack.com/p/cognitive-dissonance-in-red-hats
