I've Had Enough
I’ve Had Enough
I’m done letting others pretend this is normal.
I’m done watching in silence while our country gets pulled apart by the very people who swore to serve it.
I’ve had enough of the lying.
Every single day, Trump and his enablers flood the airwaves with half-truths, misquotes, and outright fiction. They manipulate context, twist reality, and then shout “fake news” at anyone who calls them out. This isn’t politics as usual. This is psychological warfare. When truth becomes optional, democracy becomes disposable. And I’m not okay with that.
I’ve had enough of the cruelty.
When did we decide empathy was weakness? When did we become a country that mocks the sick, cages the desperate, and cheers when people suffer, because they’re not “one of us”? Trumpism has taught millions to celebrate cruelty as strength. But I still believe that kindness is a form of courage. And I’ve had enough of the cruelty masquerading as leadership.
I’ve had enough of the war on immigrants.
Let’s stop pretending this is about law and order. It’s about fear and control. It’s about scapegoating the people who clean our homes, harvest our food, and care for our kids, while billionaires stash their money in offshore accounts. Immigrants don’t make this country worse. They make it stronger, richer, and more human. I’ve had enough of this bigoted charade.
I’ve had enough of watching our planet burn while CEOs cash checks.
Trump pulled us out of climate accords. He rolled back environmental protections like they were red tape instead of lifelines. Meanwhile, the oceans rise, the air gets thicker, and the clock ticks louder. I’ve had enough of politicians treating climate change like a liberal hoax instead of the existential emergency it is.
I’ve had enough of women being told to sit down and shut up.
This country still acts like women’s rights are up for debate. Their autonomy. Their equality. Their safety. From the Supreme Court to state houses, Trump’s movement wants to control their bodies, silence their voices, and rewrite their history. I’ve had enough. And I stand with every woman who refuses to go back.
I’ve had enough of racism being tolerated as ‘just another opinion.’
When Nazis marched in Charlottesville, Trump said there were good people on both sides. That was the moment the mask fell. He’s spent years normalizing white supremacy, dog-whistling hate, and undoing decades of progress. Racism is not a difference of opinion. It’s a moral failure. I’ve had enough.
I’ve had enough of watching billionaires and corporations buy our democracy.
Trump’s entire presidency has been a fire sale. Cabinet seats for donors. Pardons for friends. Favoritism for the wealthy. Public service has become a punchline. I’ve had enough of watching the ultra-rich write the rules while the rest of us pick up the tab.
I’ve had enough of attacking science and medicine.
From COVID to climate to clean air, Trump has gutted our scientific agencies, undermined public health, and silenced experts. Facts don’t care about your politics, and viruses don’t check party affiliation. I’ve had enough of a government that treats science like an inconvenience instead of a guidepost.
I’ve had enough of injustice being baked into the system.
Equal protection under the law isn’t negotiable. But under Trump, justice has meant something different depending on your skin color, your wealth, or your political loyalty. Peaceful protesters get tear gas, but insurrectionists get tours. I’ve had enough of a two-tiered justice system.
I’ve had enough of performative patriotism.
Waving a flag doesn’t make you a patriot. Fighting for what that flag stands for does. I love this country enough to say when it’s on the wrong track. I love it enough to fight for the soul of it. And right now, that fight means rejecting Trump’s toxic movement and every politician who enables it.
How about you?
If you’ve had enough of all this bullshit too, then don’t wait. Start right now. Stand tall. Be loud. Speak up at the dinner table, at the school board meeting, and in the streets.
This isn’t about one person. It’s about building a movement that reaches the 90 million eligible voters who sat out in 2024. We need them awake, aware, and ready to show up in 2026. That’s how we fix this. That’s how we protect democracy. That’s how we remind the world what real leadership looks like, not just for us, but for every generation watching what we do next.
So, if you feel it too, if your gut is screaming that this is not who we are, then say it with me.
I’ve had enough.
And I’m not staying quiet.
Not now. Not ever.

Hallelujah and Amen! Every word for everyone! Let’s do this and get it behind us! I am going to light a fire under our local dem party and find those non-voters and start preaching.
My gut is screaming too. We never thought this would happen to our country. MAGA is a cult mesmerized by a false prophet who has manipulated them- are some waking up? It's our job to join together in protest and in social media to bring out the truth and expose the lies. It feels overwhelming because he is attacking our democracy and our institutions from every which way . Every day there is a new Executive Order destroying our constitution and our freedom He is masterful at lying and diverting attention away from his wrong doings by making up stories about others like Obama and Oprah- notice the color of their skin. He has Stephen Miller who is leading and directing his cruelty and Pam Bondi who has no ethics .We must be on the offensive not the defensive. We need to show all his failed promises and how he is hurting MAGA followers. This administration has no heart, no empathy, no compassion and it's acceptable to their followers. I think only when his supporters are angry or hurt( like losing their jobs or medical care or perhaps see his actions with Epstein from victim testimony) will they see the truth . I've had enough too. Thank you Mitch for speaking out and engaging the true patriots!
