Hey Donald Trump—Seriously, Stay the Hell Out of California!
Keep Your Agents, Your Rhetoric, and Yourself Out of Our State.
We love our state.
California is America’s most prosperous and beautiful state. We’re diverse. We’re inclusive. We’re where innovation meets compassion, and where progress is powered by people from every walk of life.
We don’t build walls, we build futures.
We’re also a donor state. We provide $80 billion more in tax revenue to the federal government than what we receive in federal benefits.
We have the 4th largest economy in the world. It’s larger than the economies of the United Kingdom, India, and France. Only the U.S., China, and Germany rank higher. Frankly, you need us more than we need you.
Your threats to 40 million Californians? Weak. Your rhetoric? Tired. And your attacks on our values? Useless. Keep pushing and maybe we stop subsidizing your broken vision of America.
And while I’m at it, keep your ICE agents out of our state.
We’re not going to tolerate your masked agents storming our streets with military-style force, targeting our citizens and immigrant neighbors like enemies of the state. What you unleashed Friday afternoon, tactical gear, flash-bangs, and rubber bullets, was an attack on our community. And we will never forget it.
This kind of Fallujah-style assault might play well with you and dog-killer Kristi Noem, but it doesn’t fly here, not in our beautiful state. Californians, and millions across the country, saw what you did. And you’ll feel the consequences when we show up at the ballot box in the midterms.
You’re not welcome here. Not now. Not ever.

People need to understand that Trump sending ICE and Homeland Security into California, specifically Los Angeles, is an act of intimidation and federal aggression.
Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass didn’t ask Trump or the federal government for help.
They’re here unannounced, uninvited, and with the intent to cause trouble.
Our state is the most prosperous in America. We’re the 4th largest economy in the world. We’re a donor state, giving $80 billion more to the federal government than we get back. We innovate. We include. We lead. And we don’t need some wannabe dictator and authoritarian strongman turning our streets into his political stage.
In California we don’t build walls—we build futures.
Angelenos know exactly what time it is, and what it’s going to take to stop these unilateral and aggressive acts by the Trump administration.
And Stephen Miller’s inflammatory rhetoric, calling these protests an “insurrection” so they can justify boots and batons? Pathetic.
We see the playbook. We’re not pawns. We’re not backing down. That’s why I said it loud yesterday, and I’ll say it again:
Donald Trump—stay the hell out of California.
was just staying - what happened ystrday and continuing to today is when an irresistible force meets an immovable object. ppl underestimate LA... which has been an epicenter of protests and resistance for years and years - civil rights, vietnam war, chavez /chicano, la riots during rodney king, la riots during george floyd... LA was birthed out of turmoil and conflict and it's always an undercurrent flowing through the veins of the city. feds have woken a sleeping giant.
