A dangerous lie wrapped in official titles and badges, being sold to the public by a Trump’s Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, and her 34-time felon boss, who have both been working to distract, rewrite history, and erase accountability at any cost.
This week, Gabbard, took the stage and made one of the most outrageous claims we’ve heard in 2025, and there have been a lot, so that says something. What did she say and do?
She stood in front of the American people and said there was a treasonous conspiracy in 2016. She pointed fingers at the Obama administration and accused them of manufacturing intelligence.
That kind of misleading claim, made by the person tasked with protecting national security, is not just irresponsible. It’s reckless. It’s destructive. It weakens trust. It opens the door for foreign manipulation. It echoes Kremlin propaganda.
It’s also completely false.
Here’s what actually happened. In late 2016, American intelligence agencies found undeniable evidence that Russia had interfered in our election. They hacked into systems across all fifty states. They released stolen emails. They flooded our social media with disinformation campaigns. They weren’t hiding it. They were testing the strength of our democracy, and they were rooting for Trump.
The first report detailing all of this came in December 2016. It was classified. Not because someone was trying to bury it, but because it included sensitive material gathered by agencies that protect this country from enemies both foreign and domestic. That report made clear that Russia’s interference was real. It wasn’t theoretical. It wasn’t partisan fiction. It was a direct attack on American democracy.
Then came the public version in January 2017. Not because of any coverup, but because the American people deserved to know what happened without putting national security secrets at risk. That report echoed the same message. Russia interfered. They preferred Trump. They wanted to weaken Hillary Clinton. They tried to break the public’s trust in our elections. The classified and public versions told the same story. Different levels of detail. Same conclusion.
Now fast forward to 2025, and look at what Trump’s administration is doing with that truth. They’re twisting it. They’re calling it treason. They’re turning facts into fiction to protect their own power and distract from the crises closing in on them. They’re doing this while sweeping real threats under the rug. Threats like corruption. Human rights violations. Economic sabotage. Criminal investigations. Epstein documents.
Trump’s strategy is simple. Rebrand the past. Rewrite the truth. Repeat the lie until people stop questioning it. He’s doing it through people like Gabbard, who once promised independence and is now parroting foreign talking points with a straight face.
Let’s be clear. There is no treasonous conspiracy. There was no fabricated intelligence. What we are witnessing is a desperate campaign to erase the facts and criminalize anyone who tried to defend democracy in 2016.
Trump is the one in power right now. And instead of facing today’s real problems, he’s reaching into the past, weaponizing the intelligence community, and gaslighting a nation that deserves transparency, not propaganda. He wants us to forget that Russia interfered to help him win. He wants us to forget the truth. He wants us to question what we know, so he can keep doing what he’s doing without resistance.
We’re not going to let that happen.
This is our country. These are our elections. This is our democracy. We don’t answer to Putin. We don’t rewrite the truth to protect fragile egos. We don’t let propaganda dictate what our kids learn or how our government behaves. We tell the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. Especially when it’s uncomfortable.
We have a job to do. We hold the line. We show up. We make noise. And we make sure the next generation inherits a democracy worth fighting for.

Obama’s “treasonous conspiracy”???? So what would the Orange Pustule’s direct encouragement of the Jan 6 insurrection be called I wonder? His openly preferring Putin’s lies to the reports of his own country’s intelligence agencies for as long as he’s been President? His undermining of his own country’s Constitution?
