The Trump administration is freezing federal funding for programs that don’t align with its “ideological priorities.”
WTF does that mean?
As a tax-paying American citizen, I couldn’t care less about what Trump or his misaligned followers of clowns think is right or wrong.
This grifter in the White House is a convicted felon who cheated on all three wives, was found guilty by a jury of sexual assault, and paid off a porn star.
And if that’s not bad enough, out-of-touch, money-driven Republican congressmen, congresswomen, and senators all laughed and high-fived each other during Trump’s Joint Session of Congress speech. They did this even as their leader had just fired 200,000 Americans, falsely claimed Russia didn’t start the war in Ukraine, imposed misguided tariffs causing prices to spike and markets to crash, and repeatedly lied to the world on television.
Hey MAGA supporters: Keep your ideological priorities to yourselves. America was doing just fine before your hateful, conspiracy-fueled rhetoric began infecting our society.

I was thinking about how we in Europe have had some kind of USA complex for many years, but no longer. Part of it is that thanks to internet and social media we have learned so much about what it’s like to work in te US: almost no vacation weeks, almost no paid parental leave, no free healthcare, no free university studies and so on. We are used to living in societies that care more about its inhabitants.
Then came Trump. Now the US has turned into something really weird, unpredictable and actually hostile?
My friends in the US are democrats, fortunately, so I know you hate what has become of the US as well. I feel sorry for you! I do hope you find a way to impeach Trump as soon as possible.
