Executive Summary: Trump’s handpicked Deputy AG Todd Blanche, who used to defend him in court, flew to Florida to personally question convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.
Thank you, Mitch, for this comprehensive and impassioned essay on what happened this week. Even for us non-attorneys, this set of "conversations" reeked of impropriety, and looked like an elaborate attempt to fool the general public into thinking that the Trump Administration was sending one of its top officials to get at the truth. And Maxwell's stake in these conversations could not have been more obvious. We'll have to see whether Trump's utter incapacity for shame could cloud his judgment as to whether a pardon for her "transparency" will be forthcoming. If he were to pardon her, it would only add more fuel to the fire of belief that he is covering up yet another of his many crimes. Thank you again for taking the time to discuss this outrageous event from the standpoint of an accomplished attorney and devoted advocate for justice.
