It was so inspiring. Several thousand peaceful protesters of all ages in Tampa Florida. Yes I saw a group of Proud Boys with a Trump flag but they were mostly quiet. One big guy got in the face of a 30-year-old woman and was screaming at her. She started to yell back and I stepped in between them and said "hey guys, don't engage, let it be you're both entitled to your views, that's what a democracy is". They stopped in immediately.-I couldn't believe it. But I was thrilled. Maybe that's from 40 years of mediating.! Otherwise the day was peaceful, friendly, and enjoyable
In my little town of Yachats, with a population of 1,000, around 400 people came out to protest No Kings Day. Since we were a tourist spot, even some tourists came out. A lot of Canadians come here to bicycle down the Oregon Coast and we were happy to see them as our tourism have been impacted. I was so happy to see them. I had hope but the fight is not over. No one likes to give up power voluntarily. We need to keep up the pressure to uncover the disinformation and protect our neighbors from being taken off the streets. I am hoping unity will win out.

Well said and well done Mari. That's exactly what experience brings to the table. Proud of all you're doing in a very red state. Thank you!

We will win Donna. Not even a question. Watch what happens in the midterms.
